Pastor Matt was called to our church in October of 2020 as COVID-19 was ramping up in our area.  We are thankful for the gifts and leadership that God has given him.  Together with his wife, Melanie, they raise their four boys to serve the Lord.

Pastor Matt spent time at Belmore Baptist as a church member while training at Goodfellow Air Force Base for the United States Army.  God led him away from the Army after 6 years of service.  

He then studied for a Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, pastored a church in Kentucky and was an associate pastor of a church in Virginia.

Matt has a vision to impact the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ shared through the people of Belmore Baptist Church.
